Repeatability and high flatness
With the OWIS Modular System we realize gantry solutions for measuring and handling systems in the laboratory without great development effort. In application, these "benchtop systems" convince with a very good repeatability and high flatness, so that time-consuming refocusing can often be dispensed with.

Laser processing
The customized positioning system enables high-precision laser cutting, laser drilling, laser trimming or laser engraving. The compact design with our OWIS products LINPOS S and ROTPOS M maps three degrees of freedom X-Y-θz.
Analysis gantry
The laboratory gantry for the analysis of hundreds of samples consists of an XY stage of the CROSS series as well as linear stages of the LIMES and LTM series. The high flatness and exact alignment of the system eliminates the need for time-consuming refocusing and saves process time.

Compact granite gantry
The laboratory gantry made of granite enables the most precise vibration-free measurements. Positioning is performed by means of linear stages of the LIMES series and can be supplemented by goniometers and rotary stages for further degrees of freedom.
PLUG-AND-PLAY GANTRY SOLUTIONS
Tailored to your application, the systems can be designed and built:
- in portal design (the sample is moved)
- as gantry (the portal is moved)
In combination with our motor controller and a joystick, we offer a plug-and-play solution that can be operated directly as a stand-alone system or with our OWISoft, a software solution for simple and fast automation of positioning processes.

The right solution for your tasks
Our motorized XY stages are convincing for setups with free aperture for transmitted light measurement. Travels of up to 190 mm are available as standard.
For pick-and-place tasks or dispensing systems, we enable precise positioning in the vertical direction by adding one or more additional gantry axes.
